Roast potatoes, roast chicken, homemade yogurt, is all I’ve done so far.

I got one for Christmas in a “pirate gift exchange” and gave it to one of my DILs because both she and my son both work, and I figured they could use it more than I. My other DIL has one, though, and she makes luscious pulled pork in 40 min.

Cook rice in 7 min

Roast in under an hour

The claims are not exaggerated - read the manual or look for YT videos on use of the pot.

Good luck

I've sold so many I should get commission!!!!
As a busy farm wife, my Instant Pot has saved me MANY times. Frozen beef, pork or chicken turned into something amazing in an hour or so. 3lbs burger into the tenderest chili in 40 minutes. Beets ready to go in 15. Just play with it! Feel free to message me Vision if you want more guidance :)

I love that I can put frozen chicken pieces in it and be eating moist, fully cooked chicken 20 minutes later.

If you got a model that allows you to set the temp and hold it, you can do Sous Vide in it. I do all my meat Sous Vide now, and never have anything turn out dry. Edge to edge medium-rare steaks are amazing. Chicken breasts come out super juicy and tender and the spices are absorbed right into it.

I also picked up a stacked steamer for it for vegetables. Sweet potatoes have an amazing color when you run them through pressure cooking in instant pot.

I got one for my wife two Christmases ago. She uses it for just about everything. I know that it does hard boiled eggs perfectly, and they peal really easy too.

Collect dust.

The yogurt is pretty decent, I pressure cook chick peas for hummus (WAY better than canned) and I did a lot of split pea soup last winter.

My “pork rillettes” still do better in the crockpot overnight than in the pressure cooker.

Bought it to do yogurt a gallon at a time. works great.
Mashed potatoes
hard-boiled eggs 6 minutes. even fresh eggs peel easily.
rice
corned beef in 80 minutes.

it’s new, so we’re still learning.

15 Tiny red potatoes, 1 big onion (quartered), 3 cups of green beans, 2 cups of small carrots, one big slice of ham. 1/2 cup water, beef bullion and some favorite salad dressing (for flavor). 30 minutes. Enjoy. Quick, easy, low cal and darned good.
