I am good with American Airlines setting a dress code - for non-revenue passengers or even for ALL passengers.
When I was a kid in the 60’s, people dressed up like church to fly........................
I agree 100%.
I remember my days at American, after my service time. The wife and I were flying ,as no revs, to Bermuda. The Gate agent said my wife could not fly because she wearinggaucho style pants, meaning the pants came up to above her calves! I was going back and forth with agent, she was obviously having a good time with this. I finally had it and told her , since I was a line mechanic , I will personally ground any aircraft on the gate she is working and make it look like her fault! We had a very nice time in Bermuda.
