Don’t answer the phone past 3:49 on a Friday. Some A$$hat is trying to get your help with a crisis before 4:00 PM because he doesn’t want you to think its his fault that you have to work late on a Friday.
Do unto others...but do it first!
“Dont answer the phone past 3:49 on a Friday. Some...”
...lonely homosexual will want you to stay late Friday to help him do nothing so that he isn’t lonely.
1. Money cannot buy happiness - but it can rent it for a while......
2. Forgive your enemy - but trust him.............
3. If you help someone when they’re in trouble - they will screw you when you are..............
4. Alcohol does not solve any problems - but Jack Daniels will make it feel better...........

Sounds like the song, With a Little Bit of Luck from the musical, My Fair Lady.
If there is something STUPID going on, there is either a lawyer of a tax-man involved. (Congress is BOTH)
Plumbers only have 2 rules.
1. Payday is on Friday.
2. Dont bite your fingernails.

The reason YOU got the call in the first place is that your long-established reputation precedes you.
That crisis will likely still be waiting for you on Monday morning.

Just because you have 500 friends on FB doesn’t mean you have any friends.
Thanks, now I’m going to have those songs going in my brain for the rest of the day! Wouldn’t it be loverly? On the street where you live. I could have danced all night. etc

Any news released from Washington DC on a Friday will probably deserve a whole lot of extra scrutiny over the coming week (or longer).
If money doesn’t buy happiness, poverty sure as heck doesn’t.
Ignore crises. If they’re serious enough, they’ll reach the point where you can’t ignore them any longer. If they’re not that serious, they’ll go away on their own.
You can’t ever do something, because first, you have to do something.
