“You know, the courts are so lenient these days, that I catch myself hoping they put guys like this down instead of take them into custody.
I know that is wrong...”
Not at all.

I was robbed and shot in 1975 (July 14th), and I've never been the same. I carry Kimber 1911s or a Colt .357mag, ever since I walked away from that night, with a .32cal bullet still in my left side,
near my spine.

Well, that stinks. Hopefully the ladies will be okay. Guess I’ll have to watch my 6 a little more carefully the next time I go to Central Market.
Bleh.
What’s next, drive by’s at Bass Hall?
Hopefully they catch the perps and apply a little Texas justice to them. Wouldn’t want this place to turn into Dallas or something...

And Dallas now is where east ends.

Don’t joke. The “resists” are capable of anything in their deranged (normal) states of mind.

They call us “Tolerant” (Tarrant) County for a reason.

They would be leaving in body bags if they stormed your offices though. There are at least 3 of us here that carry daily, so yeah...there would have at least been return fire.

According to the article, they have SWAT surrounding a home near Horne and Blackmore...that’s in Como.

Exactly right.
The victim did not make a plan and seek out others to cause harm.
The perps did.
I’m sorry, but whatever happens to them, it’s their problem.
Here’s one other aspect. The judge was quick to extrapolate wrong doing on the pharmacist. At the same time, he didn’t extrapolate any possibility of these two coming back to get even if they lived.
If I start firing, someone is going to be dead by the end of it, unless the perp runs quickly enough.

My Mom owned a convenience store in Stockton, CA when I was 14.
One evening a guy pulled a knife and put it to my ribs demanding money from the register.
He is lucky to be alive.
My brother and I had been out shooting earlier in the day and had a shotgun in the corner that was loaded.
Police asked why we didn’t shoot the guy.
“Forgot it was there” was my reply.
I carry something everywhere I go on my person or in my car.
