NRA Endorses State Senator Leah Vukmir for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin

FAIRFAX, Va. – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to announce its endorsement of state Sen. Leah Vukmir in the 2018 Republican U.S. Senate Primary in Wisconsin.

“Vukmir’s record demonstrates her strong support for our Second Amendment freedoms and hunting heritage,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman, NRA-PVF. “We can count on Leah Vukmir to strongly support our Right to Keep and Bear Arms in the U.S. Senate.”

Vukmir, a lifelong Wisconsinite, has earned an “A+” rating from NRA-PVF. That grade is reserved for legislators who have an excellent voting record on issues critical to NRA members and who have made vigorous efforts to promote and defend the Second Amendment.

As a state senator, Vukmir voted to make Wisconsin a “shall issue” right-to-carry state. In addition, she co-authored constitutional carry legislation and supported concealed carry legislation to expand the self-defense rights of law-abiding gun owners across the country.

If elected, Vukmir will support pro-Second Amendment nominees for the U.S. Supreme Court and oppose any international treaty that would impose restrictions on American gun owners.

“Vukmir has worked tirelessly to protect the constitutional rights of Wisconsin's law-abiding gun owners. It’s important for all pro-Second Amendment voters to support her on Aug. 14,” Cox concluded.

Wisconsin is weird. They elected Tammy Baldwin (D) and Ron Johnson (R), but those two have voted the same way exactly TWO times in the last 134 bills or motions that they both voted on. One is rabidly pro-Trump, and one is very anti-Trump. How does the same population do this? They were elected in 2013 and 2011, respectively.

My only explanation is that up until the 2016 election, we were pretty much a Purple state.

We flipped for PDJT in 2016 because the Silent Majority in Wisconsin had had MORE than enough of 0bama and Crew.

You can say the same for MI, OH, PA, etc.

Oh, and Tammy had TONS of outside & PAC and Bundled cash. She’s got the same advantage this time around, too but she’s made no appearances yet and I have yet to hear a commercial for her on Radio or TV.

I guess you spend your $$$ after the Primary challenger is elected. She’s going to be VICIOUS to Leah. Count on it. Major cat fight. You can sort through it all, here:

Ron Johnson is Home Grown.

the NRA, endorser of Harry Reed,

Are we better off with Chuckie in charge? Reed never let any gun control bill come to the floor when the Dems controlled both houses and the White House. He didn't because he feared the NRA. Democrats don't fear the GOA, they fear the NRA. If they had endorsed his opponent instead of staying neutral he would have had no reason not to hold off the bills his caucus wanted to put to a vote. In the real world you need sticks and carrots.

You can be as unimpressed and ideologically pure as you want. I prefer actual winning.
