Trump ignored staff advice before press conference with Putin
President Donald Trump did the opposite of what his staff recommended ahead of his joint presser with Vladimir Putin, ignoring most of about 100 pages of briefing materials outlining a tough stance toward the Russian strongman, according to a report.
Trumps remarks during the 46-minute news conference in Helsinki, where he expressed skepticism about the US intelligence communitys findings that Russia meddled in the 2016 election, were very much counter to the plan, a source told the Washington Post.

Glad he did, because whatever the Russians did - which is virtually nothing - it doesn't come a billion light years close as to what the Obama/Clinton cabal did to deny we the people the right to a fair election. So why they hell should Trump give their hoax any kind of credence? It's astounding to me while all this Russia collusion crap is being shoved down the peoples throat 24/7 month after month, the only thing that's happened to the deep state so far is having an effeminate FBI agent mince and sway in front of Congress, basically make a mockery of justice in this country.

“very much counter to the plan,” Who's plan? The deep state? The dems?

I can’t believe the media and liberal meltdown.
Something Trump said, or didn’t say, in a press conference, is like Pearl Harbor, kristallnacht, or 9/11???
Really ?????

Tell me about it. I’m still trying to figure out what a real estate investor and a fashion model is doing advising him.

I am elated that he did. It was a stellar and historic press conference for him. We are going a new direction with Trump and the deep state can succk it up butter cup.

Again, Trump’s instincts are spot-on!
If he had come out tough on “meddling”, the press could then say, “Aha!”, he admits his election is illegitimate! WooHoo!”; and 2), they’d have accused him of being rude.
The way he did it was right. He said Putin had his say, and who is to disallow that? And both of them said that in this setting, you don’t come out and insult one another for the benefit of the slobbering press.
Great instincts!
