Medical examiners suspected that a burned corpse found in the chancellery’s enclosed courtyard — so damaged that it could not be positively identified — was Hitler’s. My comment was intended as being sarcastic. Taken individually some of the possibilities presented were plausible (i.e. Underground to Templehof), but taken in their entirety reached the point of absurdity rather quickly.
Yeah, my bad. I meant ‘Hunting Hitler’, not ‘In Search of Hitler’. I guess the error was reflective of the credibility of the show.

In 2011 he published a book that was supposed to show that Obama was not born in the United States. If Corsi had managed to nail that down, Obama would not have been president for another 5 years.

Exactly correct.
Too many fall for the lies and distortions and fail to realize the most important thing:
Hitler was SUCH a megalomaniac that he thought at the end, since the Germans lost, they rejected HIM, and he would go down with the ship (of state) taking all of them with him.
He ordered Albert Speer, his Economic Minister, to destroy the country (thankfully, Speer did not).
Hitler believed his death would lead to Gotterdamerung, the entire fall of the universe as we know it.
He had absolutely NO desire to sneak off and be forgotten.
Seriously, imagine he did so. And then remain silent for the rest of his days? NO attempt to recreate a new Third Reich in South America? Just abandon all his wild dreams of “Heute Europa; Morgen, die Welt!”???
The PRIMARY evidence of his death was all of his so-called will and fomenting trouble was gone from the world.
Hitler’s body, along with those of Eva Braun, Goebbels, and the other bodies found in the bunker (including Goebbels’ family, and Generals Krebs and Burgdorf) were moved to various locations after the war, finally being buried at a SMERSH facility at Magdeburg in 1946. Circa 1970 the KGB undertook a mission to dig up all the remains, cremate them, and dump the ashes in a tributary of the Elbe River.
No I didn’t expect it to be about history, but a lot of ‘Hitler escaped’ conspiracy folks did.

Watching History Channel should be approached like watching a movie: suspend disbelief, don’t be too critical up front and enjoy the show. Otherwise you’ll not be able to enjoy effervescence of the superficial flaws for the fundamental ones.
Consider this bit of my own historical theory: George Lucas made Howard the Duck to prove and advance the technologies needed to make episodes 1 to 3 which were going to need more sophisticated aliens than Yoda or Ewoks, not to mention all the droids.
But Howard the Duck flopped so badly that he had to sell off part of his company and this basically is why the prequels took so long to make.
Had they been made sooner without the benefit of the computer animation they were made with Lucas would have been forced to make different choices as a director about the one alien, Jar Jar Binks, and it would have likely resulted in him being not half the annoying clown that he was. It may have even made it possible to pull off Jar Jar as the big bad using Drunken Fist style where Lucas had to abanon that and pull Dooku out of his arse.
So if Howard had been better received it’s possible a younger Lucas could have completed his series and Disney subsequently not gone all SJW on it.

There are questions to the dental records of Hitler. If you are convinced then good, if there is a question why shouldn’t it be explored.
