Civil servant skipped work for a decade and nobody noticed

A Spanish public servant who skipped work for a decade without anyone noticing spent his free time running a male brothel and drawing erotic comics.

Carles Recio, who was paid a €50,000 ($58,000) salary as an archives director in Valencia’s provincial government, would show up to the office every morning at 7:30 a.m. to clock in using the fingerprint scanner before heading home, only returning to the office at 3:30 p.m. to clock out.

He kept up the routine for 10 years before colleagues began to raise suspicions. After Spanish newspaper El Mundo broke the story 18 months ago, Recio was finally fired, despite his insistence that he had done nothing wrong.

It also emerged Recio had been running a male brothel out of his home since 2005. At one point he threatened to reveal the identities of his clients, warning there may have been cameras inside and the “graphic information” could compromise many politicians.

And the ECB (European Central Bank - those heroes of the euros) makes sure that it stays that way. At least for the foreseeable future...the corruption from the south is made sure to spread to the north...until they all collapse and the Brussels polit bureau can sweep in to their long-awaited full power grab.

Oh, fortunately people are getting wise to that, and it may not play out that way after all. Those Brussels commissars are going to get Ceaucescue’ed sooner or later...:)

That isn’t really true. I mean, he earned 4 weeks a year vacation, so for those weeks he wasn’t really skipping work.

The corruption “from the north” has been an ongoing, regular feature, but for some reason, governmental extortion doesn’t seem to be considered corruption there.

All of Europe is completely sunk in leftist corruption because the socialist forces there have given government and government employees incredible and absolute power, and we all know what absolute power does.

Years ago helping a company as a temp we had to meet with a government manager type at the site. The first day he wasn’t in his office in the morning. His secretary said to come back in the afternoon. Still not there. We went back to work and another guy said “Oh - Frank? Yeah - get there by 7am and you might have to wait, but you’ll catch him.”

We did the next day. The other worker said “Yeah - he comes in, turns on his lights, puts some papers on his desk. Then he leaves for the day to work his other job. You can sometimes catch him when he comes back and straightens up - but that can be pretty irregular.”

I wish I hadn’t been so young back then. Although obviously everybody around knew what he was doing - so who was I going to tell?

There was a certain someone with the initials of B.H.O. who inhabited the White House and didn’t do any work for eight years.

This is what the austerity demanded by Germany would rectify; either change, or leave the EU - the Fourth Reich has no room for such Latin laziness.

As for coming to Mexifornia, it is already here in NJ - though shamefully it is Irish-types doing it (now being displaced by “diversity candidates” who get right into the groove of things). Like the EU, it is having the same effect - it strangles commerce.
