Strzok took great offense when asked about his extra marital affair with Lisa Page. However it goes beyond being a personal matter. Strzok is or was a senior counter intelligence agent in the FBI. While he is free to conduct an affair, FBI rules and regulations require that he disclose the relationship with his superiors. The rule is a good one to prevent an agent in that situation from being blackmailed or turned by competent foreign operatives. Also conducting such an affair while supporting a wife and family tends to get expensive. It is legitimate to inquire if Strzok was receiving funds beyond his salary. For instance did he do any paid “consulting” work perhaps for the Clinton Foundation. Sorry Peter but there will be more questions and inquiries before this is over.
