I think I understand.
This is one of those stories where the FBI doesn’t look so good. Much better for the United States if their corruption and lawlessness is quickly brushed aside and forgotten.
Am I missing anything?
Strozk is basically saying, “If I go down, the FBI goes down with me.”
To which I say, I’ll take that package deal. We don’t need a Federal law enforcement entity beyond the Marshall service. The most prominent activity of the FBI, other than election meddling, is entrapping the stupid into terrorist conspiracies and either busting them for publicity, or letting them play out with deadly consequences, at their whim.
I sat there this morning, watching about 40 minutes of the whole thing, and then it kinda hit me: Naked Gun: 2018.
Yes, we have Frank ‘Strzok’ Drebin, with his paramour Jane ‘humper pumper Page’ Spencer, and Captain Ed ‘Sessions’ Hocken (the George Kennedy character).
In the 2018 version, ‘Strzok’ Dreben is up daily and text-sexing with ‘Page’ Spencer...his paramour. Something of incredible evil is up, and the dynamic duo really need to take it down....in between sessions (not the guy).
Dreben runs around all pumped up and serious, but mostly just makes people laugh because he’s such a fake. Don’t know how Naked Gun: 2018 ends...but I think Dreben and his paramour will be hot-stuff through 2019.
