I was for Trump practically from the minute Señor Yeb stupidly claimed some sort of height advantage by standing on his toes even before the start of the first debate.
I was for Trump at the first debate, what were there, 15 people on stage?? I would have never voted for Bush or Cruz or Fiorina. My elderly aunt hated Trump, thought he was going to be a Ross Perot type.
From the start of the primary season I was a Cruz guy. But I kept resonating with what Trump was saying, kept laughing at his one liners and pointing them out to my wife. Eventually she just said “You keep saying you’re for Cruz but just admit it, you really like Trump.” I paused and thought about that and realized that my head was for Cruz but in my heart I wanted Trump. And from that point I gave into my heart and went all in for Trump.
