Put a cork in it already. The first Star Wars should have been the last. Great ending. Final. Done. Over. Finished.

The first one was fine. I never cared much for all the sequels and prequels and backstory stand alone movies.

I guess the way Hollywood is, if you have a big hit movie, the pressure is immense to make sequels and turn something into a franchise.

Are you kidding? Empire Strikes Back is considered the greatest sequel in movie history. Well, maybe after T2: Judgement Day.

On his last tour, Frank Zappa redid his song "Tell Me You Love Me" as a Michael Jackson soliloquy entitled " Why Don't You Like Me?"

In the middle of the song, the band breaks in to a Billy Jean vamp where Frank announces-

This is supposed to be the part where I . . . name people who are not . . . the illegitimate son of Michael Jackson. . .

Frank includes in that list....none of them than Lando Calrissian.

I agree that the original Trillogy was enough for me. However, to this day, I cannot hear Lando's name without singing Frank's song to myself, thus splicing Zappa into Star Wars in an odd, twisted way.

Generally I agree.

While I keep seeing them, I’d be OK never having Endless SW, Jurassic Park, Star Trek, or “superhero” movies ever again.
