I was a foster parent. Prior to fostering we were licensed to adopt. I reached out to no less than 50 case workers for kids on adoptuskids and never heard from one of them. Not one.
I then had to amend our license to foster and we promptly got kids.

I’ve done some thinking about that possibility. If it happens, I will be calling and writing formally to senators to tell them to oppose. This is not the time for a another wildcard that may nudge the U.S.A. over the edge. We’d be better off waiting until after the midterm elections.

It could be. It could be because space aliens told to ignore American children in need of parents, and focus on importing some from a crap country. Since we’re talking could-be’s.
