Dogs eat cat turds, so pretty much nothing short of poison gonna upset their tummies.

Had a Schnoodle (Schnauser Poodle mix). When the house next door was under construction, Nero would trot over and steal a bagged lumch and whiz off into the woods with it. When the dog catcher truck came around, Nero would trot out to meet him and get petted, then jump up into the cab and ride with the catcher until back at the pound. They guy would call and tell us ‘Nero’s in jail again, cheering up the strays.” We would go bail him out until the next time. Happiest dog I ever saw. Loved everybody, especially little children. As a puppt he had parvo and was saved by the vet running IVs in him for a few days. When he got back home he was never sad again.

Summer or winter, we let Nero out in the morning and he would run down the hill to the creek behind our house and take a morning bath then run back up to the back door and bark to be let in for breakfast. I loved that little guy too much.

I will be looking for a few I miss. Nero had black, thick, curly fur. Another I miss is Chris, from my youth. He was a Collie/Chow mix with a curled plume blond tail. Constant sidekick when I was loose in my young years around the lake.

” I loved that little guy too much.”

You can’t love a pup like that too much——and he was lucky to have had you.

At our construction yard, we had two dogs, Freddie and Riley. Riley would always chase the truck as it drove out of the yard and Freddie, being the oldest, would try to stop him because he’d been scolded enough that he knew it was wrong. But Freddie passed and the guys took to holding Riley by the collar as the truck pulled away. Eventually, as the truck was leaving Riley would look for someone to hold him back 😆

Awwww, what a sweet baby. My doggy is a teddy bear; bichon and shih tzu. He loves everyone. And, I love him more than I ever imagined.

I’m lucky enough to have a very kind postwoman who always carries doggie bacon treats in her vehicle.

Needless to say, my dogs jump for joy on the days when I receive a package:)

Alright everybody, if I wasn't so strapped for time I'd be heading out to volunteer at the local animal control just 5 miles north of me.

I've been wanting a pet for over 20 yrs now and seeing the UPS DOGS FACEBOOK PAGE just melted my heart.

My ex-wife of 19 yrs wanted NOTHING to do with any animals at all (huge red flag that I kept ignoring).

In 2016 after the landlord booted us out of the home we had been living for 14 yrs by illegally changing the terms of the lease, we were house hunting for rentals or to buy a home.

At the workplace a fellow manager reminded me that our brother company is Ditech and I can easily get a mortgage with ultra low closings costs. So I applied and was approved for a $380,000 loan and then we went house shopping.

For about 3 times per week we would go out driving and looking at places and meetings with realtors etc. Then one evening while going to a viewing I said to her "well I'm glad we're house shopping as now I can FINALLY have my pets dogs & cats".

The EX looked at me and said "sure you can, just as long as you keep them over YOUR SIDE OF THE HOUSE!"

Suffice to say that ended all prospects for buying a house for me, especially as she had taken off 5 yrs from working during the time I was at that workplace and I was paying for everything.

Here’s something to consider. If your dog is doing something he shouldn’t, and you slap your hand with a rolled up newspaper, your dog is going to stop.

Try that with your wife.

At one point I'd considered sending her to Obedience Training classes but I was concerned that she'll attack & bite the trainers there too.

But as she divorced me on Feb 15th already she's off the collar and moved on with life.
