‘Baby Duck’ was VERY popular in Canada in the ‘70s and ‘80s. It was cheap, sweet, bubbly and low alcohol, almost a precursor of wine coolers. It was a perfect wine for a country that had not a clue about wine. Since that time, viniculture has grown exponentially in the Niagara region of Ontario and the Okanagan region of BC.
