WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A white man who challenged a black family's use of a private community's pool has not only resigned from the homeowner's association board — he's also lost his job.
Sonoco announced Friday that Adam Bloom is no longer employed by the packaging and industrial products company, saying it doesn't condone discrimination of any kind, even if it happens outside its workplace.

I also disagree with this company firing him.
He is probably a class A1 a-hole on the job so they might have been looking for a good excuse. But it’s getting to the point where you can’t express your opinion on anything anymore.
I don’t know the story behind this= but we have seen more and a few examples of someone being called racist for no reason.

IMHO said company discriminated against the man they terminated for daring to have an opinion that they differed from and that’s discrimination in of itself seems like to this reader. At least a gross insufferable attitude of bias and intolerance. So they just figured two wrongs does make a right after all, for them at least.
Poor Adam Bloom, he is now unemployable in the packaging industry and his desire to win high office in the HOA are destroyed.
From my perspective, being an employee really is a form of slavery. As this guy learned, it controls your life 24/7

I don’t know what to think about this one. I guess he challenges other people at the pool so that is ok, but when she proved to the attending police officers that she was permitted to use the pool, the guy just walked away and did not offer an apology. What an ass. But I don’t know that his unrelated company should have fired him although his resigning from HOA was warranted. All of this because in my opinion he could not apologize. So he probably is a racist.
Adam Bloom made a choice to get his name in the newspaper, and along with his name, was the name of his employer.
Considering that, it could be that his company dis not want to be associated with a person who calls the police on a family who is swimming on a pool that they own.
Watched the video she posted. the woman is an unhinged butt hurt dint do nuffin. why I gotta show ma ID. you dint ax no one els. .. the guy is being calm and collected. she is ranting at him because she’s black and knows she can get away with it. black privilege in action. Mr. Bloom could have been one of the greatest HOA presidents in the history of our nation.
She is an owner of that pool.
How would he know that?
