The closest I’ve ever gotten is working in high power rifle target pits. The rounds smacking the berm behind the targets sound almost as loud as the original muzzle blast. No thanks...who the hell wants to have to “go over the top”? And to those who do GODSPEED!

When Franz returned from the war, he made a living as a postman until he starred in the play "Cops."
