Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) on Saturday told demonstrators in Los Angeles protesting the Trump administration’s immigration policies that anyone who shoots at the lawmaker “better shoot straight.”
Waters claimed on Thursday she was forced to pull out of events in Alabama and Texas after she received death threats.
“There was one very serious death threat made against me on Monday from an individual in Texas, which is why my planned speaking engagements in Texas and Alabama were cancelled (sic) this weekend,” the outspoken Trump critic said in a statement. “This is just one in several very serious threats the United States Capitol Police are investigating in which individuals threatened to shoot, lynch, or cause me serious bodily harm.”

Trying to plant the idea of assassination. Not in the minds of her opponents, but those on her side who have the potential to stop the next supreme court justice (or remove one of the existing ones). If her followers believe it’s a real tactic the other side would use, it’s more likely they will consider it as an option for their side. Even a necessity rather than just an option if the other side is doing it they need to do it to compete.
Begala said they will “fight like crazy”. She’s telling her side how to be crazy. And only needs one or a few going “full Begala” to get what she wants.

Well, in all reality, who would waste a perfectly good bullet on Mad Maxine. Especially since with all of her insane ranting, she is doing more to destroy her own party than anyone else. Keep on going Maxine, you are the Democrats worse nightmare.

Time for law enforcement to take her into custody under an emergency committal, 72-hr hold for diagnosis, treatment.
My my my, isn’t she just full of herself. Look, if someone were to decide to take a shot at her they would have to weight the potential consequences: getting killed by counter-sniper fire, getting arrested and imprisoned, or maybe the death penalty. Any or all of these are quite possible, even probable outcomes. Well, frankly, she’s simply not worth the risk. In fact, IMHO she is far too valuable alive and spewing her twisted views. She is currently the best campaign tool the Republicans have. The crazier she gets, the further out she goes, the better for us. While she has put Biden in the rear-view of public insanity / feeble-mindedness, she’s not into Pelosi territory yet, so she’s got a ways to go.
