I truly believe that California is one of the most beautiful places that God ever created. Living here and simultaneously being involved in conservative politics certainly has its struggles – especially when you are a direct contradiction to the classic “rich, white male” Republican stereotype. Although conservatives often are subjected to a lot of criticism from the Left, sometimes it feels like us minority conservatives are scrutinized for our political opinions to a greater extent. I am a Latina conservative. Here are some of the struggles I’ve faced while living in one of the most Left-leaning states in the country.

I’m right there with you, sister. I live in the Bay Area where even mentioning Trump is profanity. The funniest thing are the assumptions people make about my political views - Asian guy, so must be a liberal Democrat. The last one was from my optometrist who thought I was sympatico. Boy did her attitude changed when I politely mentioned that I’m a conservative Republican.
That’s not me...it’s somebody else.
It may not be safe to mention political affiliations anymore. Not in this environment.

It’s not me, but I am ethnically mixed and also live in California.
We need more people like the blogger above, Candace Owens, and others to take the mantle of conservatism too.
I have lived in blue states all of my life and never placed a bumper sticker on my vehicle or my home. Vandalism is a big problem when you live amongst them. The are them most destructive and vindictive miscreants known to humankind when they know anything about you.
There are many ways to fight fascism, but only one way works.
Long past time to take care of business.
Leftists are like islamists, in that they treat the traitor to the faith worse than the sworn enemy of the word.
American leftists, like the European leftists shall soon realize they have cast their lot with those who will literally saw their heads off. So it goes.
The girl is young and strong, this will only harden her resolve.
It is a shame that elections are predicated less on ideas and principles and more on demographic/racial breakdowns. Primordial “Tribal mentality” as opposed to robust, intellectual discussion and debate.
The GOP is not working hard enough to change that.
