People are noticing that Tebow keeps getting better and better.

PROVE THEM ALL WRONG
God will bless him in ways he doesn’t suspect!...................
He would have been a great quarterback to if there wasn’t a lynch mob going after him all the time.
Still just double A. Put him in triple A and if he does well there then maybe bring him up after Labor Day.
The Mets are horrible so nothing to lose by calling him up late in the season to gin up some interest.
Double A is where the best prospects go. Triple A is usually those not quite good enough and big leaguers on rehab assignments.
His progress is almost miraculous, given his lack of baseball background.
He’s been splitting LF with 27-year old Kevin Taylor, a converted 2Bman.
Taylor: 235 AB, .281 BA, 2 HR, 25 RBI
Tebow: 203 AB, .256 BA, 5 HR, 27 RBI
Tebow is weak defensively and has struck out 85 times in 203 ABs, 20+ more SOs than anyone else on the team. That’s actually an improving rate.
Tebow’s pretty good numbers are mostly due to a hot streak the last month. It takes a real ballplayer to even have a hot streak that long.
Good for him. I have never understood the hate for him. I was never a fan of his, but I got the distinct impression that much of the hate was from people offended by his religiosity. And the others who hated him did because they thought he wasn’t genuine.
I hope he does well in whatever he does.
????????????????
I love the guy, but his backswing was too long for an NFL passer. What he did have was the ability to figure out how to win.
He is still a hero and model for young people, if their parents will pay attention.
He’s got God on his side. Should run for Gov./Senate asap.
I saw him on an epoisode of Fixer Upper last week. The guy has thighs as big as tree trucks...very impressive...
I hope he does well in MLB
It’s been the case for a few years that best prospects are in AA. AAA teams are mostly made up of older, marginal major league players that wouldn’t be intimidated by a major league callup even if they wouldn’t be saviors.
It varies some from organization to organization, and AAA still does showcase some prospects short-term before their callups to the majors.
people offended by his religiosity
The funny thing is, he wasn’t in your face about it. He would talk about it, if asked, and mention it in interviews. But he didn’t demand anyone believe as he did, and reports from teammates never said he was a locker room preacher, or proselytized to his teammates.
Now, the gay mafia are all about getting in your face and shoving it down your throat.
/ugh, image not meant to be disgusting, but there it is anyway.
Over 40% strikeout rate at this level after being professionally coached for over a year is a big red flag, he needs to learn to make contact if he is ever going to move up.

Rooting for him though.
Agreed.
The nfl was showing what a Godless organization it was back then. They will get theirs from the people who used to be fans.
His 40% strikeout rate is actually down from about 50%!
To understand how bad that is, only a few full-time players in all of the major leagues can match that 40% SO rate, and they have more power and are much better defensively.
At least he is moving in the right direction, if he can get it down to less that 30% and improves defensively he has a shot.
