Forgive Me, Rush, I Disagree with You; Democrats are Split into Bolshevik and Menshevik Wings

Anybody, such as the woman in NYC who won the congressional primary last night, who are Democratic Socialists would more accurately be categorized as Bolsheviks while the standard Democrat corruptocrats such as Hillary, Terry McAuliffe, or Cuomo would best fit into the Menshevik Wing of the party.

I hope this disagreement does not cause me to feel the Wrath of Rush since he lives only about 40 miles up the road from me.

The progressives are wearing R jerseys.

The progressives outnumber the constitutionalists in the elected GOP by a large percentage.
That has to change if the Republic is to survive.

I think you’re right, but the thing is that most people wouldn’t even know what he was talking about if he said Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. I think he gets the essence of it with his terms, in a way that people will understand.

Maybe he needs to make more of a point about how the Dems - as a party - have turned more and more Marxist over the years.

This is the characterization that I use, too. The Bolsheviks had a rule - “No enemies to the left.” It's corollary is that "all not as left as we are are our enemies." The Mensheviks, the SRs, the anarchists, and the national socialists were all insufficiently left and were destroyed. None understood the vicious nature of the Bolsheviks.

Um, it is IMPORTANT that the Democrats be properly labeled and since Rush talked about that labeling today, I thought it deserved its own thread. Forgive my vanity. I shall endeavor to be but a mere humble soul in the future who knows his place is only on existing threads.
