I think you’re right, but the thing is that most people wouldn’t even know what he was talking about if he said Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. I think he gets the essence of it with his terms, in a way that people will understand.
Maybe he needs to make more of a point about how the Dems - as a party - have turned more and more Marxist over the years.
They should know and if they don't, they can always use the Search Engines for some political self-education.
Howmany people have finished school in the last 30 years, either with diplomas or with post grad degrees, know what Mensheviks are or what the difference with Bolsheviks is? You have to have some exposure to history for that.
