It won't let me cut and paste the first paragraph.
It seems very laid out. I think it would be a great camper for somebody wanting to tour the entire country.
“brand new van model”
Never ever buy the first two years of any model vehicle. That’s when they work out the final bugs.
It does not even have a slide, not worth it in my opinion. We just ordered a 2019 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 2612wsd for under $26k. That with a new F-150 is cheaper then $70k.
Traveling Light the Finnish way
Stumbled across a Finnish site selling mobile saunas. Finns will indeed bring/build saunas everywhere, even war zones.
Buy American! There is a reason those people lost the war.
I would look to a domestic truck based camper. I have heard about Mercedes based campers unable to get repairs when traveling. I suspect this one would be worse.
Is that even available in the United States? BTW, our 3 bedroom, 2 bath 1,475 square foot brand-new mobile home cost about half that amount.
Dude.
The drive train is a collaboration between Fiat and Citroën.
That magnificent Italian and French machine engineering.
The answer is an emphatic NO.
Buy something on a Ford 450 chassis. And be happy thereafter.
My personal preference, if I had the money, is sprint van customized into a camper or a truck camper that sits in a truck bed.
You can pick up or even build something that fits you better for less.
Camper- who needs a camper? Just sleep in vacant homes
For comparison: that amount will buy you a new Airstream Sport and a $20K truck to pull it with.

As someone mentioned new things needing sorting out the Airstream should be considered a known quantity. You may even be able to rent one to try it out, though of course it may be an older model.
There’s always the possibility of buying used.
Personally, the 1960 Holiday House Geographic would be as good as it could get if you could find one: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/[object%20Object]

Sorry that other link was busted. I hope this one works.
MAN is a well known heavy truck manufacturer in Europe... but I don’t know anything about their vans marketed to plumbers which is what this is.. same as the Mercedes Sprinter... I can say however that ALL THINGS GERMAN are overcomplicated and expensive to maintain... My Sprinter blew 2 turbo’s in about 80,000 miles... Mercedes never acknowledged any design flaw although MANY other people were having the same problem...
I would buy a US built class C with a diesel engine ...
I recently attempted to drive a band new (first driver) Citroën across Ireland and didn't make it. That's about 200 miles and I made it only 60. Consider that before your purchase.
$70,000?? Gasp! That buys a LOT of luxurious hotel and modest motel nights.
Incompetent upper management will do you in every time.
A ...no.
Try La Mesa RV.
Or
RVTrader.
The launch of a brand new van model isn't necessarily the most exciting thing when it's happening, but it can lead to an interesting string of all-new campers in the years following. After debuting the TGE van in 2017, MAN whet our appetites for TGE camper vans with two concepts earlier this year. This month, we saw the first MAN off-road expedition camper van at Abenteuer & Allrad. Now, Knaus comes out with the first larger TGE-based motorhome we've seen. The German motorhome maker drops a compact but comfy living box behind a Manly nose, transforming the TGE into the Van Ti Plus.
As part of its 30th anniversary year, Knaus recently announced the all-new Van Ti Plus model among a number of model year 2019 updates and additions. The company's existing Van Ti model is based on the Fiat Ducato chassis, and the new Van Ti Plus becomes the first TGE-based motorhome in Knaus' stable. We've always found the Ducato face a bit sad and droopy, and the TGE cab fixes things with much stronger facial features.
On back of that TGE front-end, Knaus has placed an aluminum-walled camping module. The rear of that box matches the elevated aesthetic of the MAN cab with a sharp-looking set of Knaus' new "Cat Eye Evolution" LED taillights.
A nighttime view of the 700 MF floor plan with dinette converted to a bed
Worth $70,000? Probably not. Would depend on MPG, power uphill, turning radius, handling, etc. I would lease/rent first to see how it performs.
