If prediabetic, stop eating breads, pasta, rice, sugars, cereals and the vast majority of normal desserts. That leaves unsweetened beans, lentils, and possibly potatoes. Only potatoes would be allowed on a paleo diet of these, if you wanted to consider that jump.
Another way to view this is from Glycemic Load. We arent buying things above a 2.

Do you measure your sugar?
I do so I figure that would be a good way to empirically determine whether it helps or not by carefully lowering the dosage of my other meds (Metphormin and a few others).
I am going to give it a shot and I’ll keep yo posted.
it’s alpha lipoic acid and it’s used to supposedly treat peripheral neuropathy- I got peripheral neuropathy from chemo and it did absolutely nothing to help the condition- Some folks say it worked for them- i had no help from it
There are a couple forms of co q10. Basically a form of it primarily located inside cells, and another form of it primarily located outside of the cells.
The organ with the most coq10 is the heart. Sometimes up to ten times as much as the next leading part of the body.
Please work to shift his cravings toward low net carb desserts.
