President Donald J. Trumps press secretary was thrown out of a Virginia restaurant because she works for the Trump administration.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left, she tweeted. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.
The Red Hen has been owned by Stephanie Wilkinson since 2008, according to a public records database.
Wilkinson and her co-founder John Blackburn are part of the leftist go green craze.
Our two main goals during renovation were to preserve the historic character of the building and update it in the most sustainable way possible, Blackburn told Virginia Living.
Curiously, nobody named Stephanie Wilkinson is registered to vote in Virginia.
The Red Hen has been taking a beating on Google Reviews since the news surfaced.
Based on the new report that that the manager asked a patron last night to leave because she worked for the POTUS, this is highly inappropriate, a Google user named Kimberly Mackie wrote. A business should never ask a customer to leave because of their job.
No, no they don't. Not in this instance.
Do Restaurants Have the Unrestricted Right to Refuse Service?
LOL
And leftists don’t tip worth a sh#t.
Meryl Streeps cousin?Wonder if the restaurant's apple supplier uses Alar?
but this guy has nothing to do with the Red Hen anymore...
One would hope. I’m guessing this is high profile enough that in the short term, there are enough screwballs with money to tide her over until she can relocate elsewhere.
I don’t think the restaurant will survive, but she may make bank off of this...if she’s smart.
Ok, so maybe not.
“Curiously, nobody named Stephanie Wilkinson is registered to vote in Virginia.”
What’s she voting...NY?
Legally? Or...
my bad.
It'd be terrible if a semi with a rookie driver and a 53 foot trailer full of I-beams cut that corner a bit too sharply.
At 3 AM, of course.
“Sarah should be grateful.”
Absolute truth.
The red hen choked their chicken
A lot of windows...right there at the street.
I wonder how their eight farm-to-table partners feel about this? They have the right to be discriminating, but they are highly unlikely to believe the same for Christian business owners. They should’ve posted that conservatives aren’t welcome.
Bet you a dollar that she would argue that a Christian baker would have to accept her order for a same sex wedding cake.
Different strokes for different folks. As a good liberal she cannot see her own hypocrisy for what it is.
Oh my what will happen to Ms. Wilkinson? She is now badly frightened and more paranoid than usual. She imagines she needs armed bodyguards who are progressives. Very suspicious of anyone entering the restaurant.
Gee, does she even think of how she made Sara feel?
Ms. Wilkinson SHOULD experience ever a bit of paranoia. It could be beneficial.
“What if the job was selling heroin to kids?”
That’s not a job. That’s a criminal activity.
But, you knew that.
Dont boycott . Make reservation at 5 and eat resl slow
I would suggest sending the plate back for one fault or another....multiple times
