This is the moment an enraged badger chases away a hungry dog which bit its bottom and tried to pinch its food.
Footage shows the incensed creature spin around and charge at the pooch when it made a move for the hunk of meat.
Startled by the badger's quick reaction, the dog sprints away as fast as it can with the tenacious omnivore hot on its heels.

It looked like the Russian woman was trying to get the badger out of some small structure, and she succeeded by dragging the piece of meat out. Before the dog got into it and regretted it instantly!

A badger will tear most dogs apart.

I dont have many rules in life, but peaving off badgers is a no-no.Given that a badger is basically a smaller and slightly less ill-tempered version of a wolverine, that is a good rule.

Im not seeing any regret in the dog. He did his job. He saw a badger following his owner and redirected the badger off his owner and onto him and escaped without harm. Good job, Fido. He earned his Alpo redirecting the badger from Mom.
Dogs are such bad asses. They are our close companions, and yet such capable predators.
