I am not sure that the Koch brothers are trustworthy. They could be white hats or Deep State. They bear investigating. There are a LOT of “conservatives” who are part of the DS.
It appears to me that Trump ran on his OWN money. That’s what makes him beholden to no one. No special interests control him - as far as I can tell.

Sorry for the very late reply to your post but I wanted to have it out there that the BIG issue with the Koch bros is their insistent funding for all things related to amnesty. Look it up, it’s so frustrating since they otherwise are trying to do good. I can’t recall who they backed in the primary, Cruz or Rubio but both of them were way too soft on immigration imho
