The North Korean dictator is fancied at 4/6 to take the prize jointly with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in.
Donald Trump is second favourite at 10/1 by bookies Ladbrokes.
The two leaders are in Singapore for a showdown summit to solve the ongoing crisis over Pyongyang's nuke programme, which has led to fears of a major world war.
The US President has sounded a positive note ahead of the crisis talks with Kim.
Earlier he tweeted: "Great to be in Singapore, excitement in the air!"
Kim was also pictured in a candid selfie smiling with politicians on a night out in Singapore.
US basketball star Dennis Rodman arrived in Singapore late on Monday for the summit, saying he was "excited to be part of it," although there is no indication yet he will be involved in the talks.
Speaking to reporters, the former NBA champion said: "It should go fairly well, but people should not expect so much for the first time.
"The doors are opening."
Trump met with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee today, saying afterward: "We've got a very interesting meeting tomorrow, and I just think it's going to work out very nicely".
Other figures in the running for the prestigious peace prize include the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) at 10/1, Catalan politician Carles Puidgemont at 12/1, Angela Merkel at 16/1 and Pope Francis, also at 16/1.

What is the big deal with this award? After Obama got it for doing nothing, it lost all meaning.
Apparently one must be a communist or muslim or sympathizer of one or both of these to be considered for the kewpie doll they call the Nobel Peace Prize now and it’s worth about the same as a kewpie doll.

You know - in a way, it kind of makes sense.
Little rocket man is the one who can save his people, save his country, and save his own ass. It is really completely up to him to make the right decision. Either he is going to do as Trump tells him, or it will be the end of him, his regime, and his country.
So really, little rocket man is the one who can make peace happen.
And it just goes to show what a joke the prize is.

In a sane world, the Nobel Peace Prize would be given to both President Trump and Kim Jong-un.
But this is reality, which is an insane one. I fully expect Hillary Clinton to win this years Nobel.

Makes sense, after all PDJT has put millions in Concentration Camps, had Relatives poisoned, made Mortar Targets of opposition or had people just plain disappear.
