Kim Jong-un FAVOURITE for Nobel Peace Prize in blow to Donald Trump
The Daily Star ^ | June 11, 2018 | Anthony Blair

The North Korean dictator is fancied at 4/6 to take the prize jointly with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in.

Donald Trump is second favourite at 10/1 by bookies Ladbrokes.

The two leaders are in Singapore for a showdown summit to solve the ongoing crisis over Pyongyang's nuke programme, which has led to fears of a major world war.

The US President has sounded a positive note ahead of the crisis talks with Kim.

Earlier he tweeted: "Great to be in Singapore, excitement in the air!"

Kim was also pictured in a candid selfie smiling with politicians on a night out in Singapore.

US basketball star Dennis Rodman arrived in Singapore late on Monday for the summit, saying he was "excited to be part of it," although there is no indication yet he will be involved in the talks.

Speaking to reporters, the former NBA champion said: "It should go fairly well, but people should not expect so much for the first time.

"The doors are opening."

Trump met with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee today, saying afterward: "We've got a very interesting meeting tomorrow, and I just think it's going to work out very nicely".

Other figures in the running for the prestigious peace prize include the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) at 10/1, Catalan politician Carles Puidgemont at 12/1, Angela Merkel at 16/1 and Pope Francis, also at 16/1.

It's been revealed Kim never travels anywhere without his own personal toilet, but the reason he does it is truly bizarre.

Give it to Rodman. About as meaningful.

Now I would pay to watch that acceptance speech.

It should be expected the left, the MSM, the enemies of this administration will say, or do anything they can to discredit Donald Trump in any way possible. This is just another in a series of such attacks on his credibility, and it won’t be the last.

Trump is not eligible for the prize.

The prize these days can only be awarded a-priori to the accomplishment to which is awarded for. This way, the prize winner need not do anything.

Since by the time any prize would be awarded, any changes in the NK equation will be a done deal, it makes no sense for them to give it to Trump.

The Nobel became a gag gift in 2009

It's more of a curse, recipients are losers and they do what they do best, lose.

"The Nobel became a gag gift in 2009."

Very true. When Obongo gets the award ten days after his swearing for doing virtually NOTHING other than being half black, the liberal Euros showed their hand.

They’ll give Nobels to anybody.

Put Trump’s mug on Mount Rushmore.

You know, I wouldn’t put it past Trump to do just that.

But of course if they are consistent, they would give it to Kim instead of Trump, or Assad or Hamas.

I would expect them to give the prize to both Kim and Trump. Not exactly my preference given that Kim is a thug but that’s what I can envision them doing. These men are the two principals in this deal. SK is playing a supportive role as well as Japan and China.

Like giving a bank robber an award for stopping bank robberies.

I'm sure this is just those Euroweenie Norwegians trying to stamp their little child feet about how Trump is kicking @$$ and taking names.

These are the same pansy bozos who gave that ignorant sh*tbag Obama a Nobel prize for being black. The world should not give a sh*t for what these effeminate beta males think.

I snicker whenever I see someone speculate that DJT will get the Nobel. Kim, yes, for being brave and standing up to and forcing the settlement on DJT.

I would love to see it awarded to Trump, then Trump telling them where they can stick their prize.

They should just give it to Kim to demonstrate just how pathetic and meaningless the prize is.

...it would kill it once and for all.

That said, that Obama and Kim would share the same prize would be fitting!!! lol

Why not, he's more deserving of it than Obama was.

Trump is a businessman who can differentiate real achievement from pointless baubles.

Obozzo came out and farted on our history and was given the award for services to the Deep State. That’s how much a Nobel is worth
