Attempting to force businesses and churches to approve of homosexuality, a Biblical sin, is one method liberals are using to purge God from society. By destroying the people who believe in God, they think they can destroy God himself.
He’s going to get sued and he’s going to lose.
Selling hardware is not participating in a religious ceremony like a wedding.
He might be able to refuse to cut a gay design on a piece of wood. But he can’t refuse to sell hardware to gays or refuse them entry into a public store.

As a fellow citizen I would defend the store owner’s right to chose who he does business with. Unfortunately in this corrupt society others will harm his business by refusing to do business with him, and it is possible his unnecessary actions will result in a lawsuit that strips away rights from all of us.
As a fellow Christian, I do not agree with his approach. Instead of refusing to allow them to be his customer, he should proclaim the Gospel and share with them their need for repentance. He can always refuse service to anyone who tries to use his place of business to promote their perversions, and he can make them leave.

How will the proprietor know that the customer is a homosexual unless that person announces it through his declaration or behavior? Say for example, if he comes into the store trying to recruit young boys for buggery operations? I knew homosexuals when I was in the military. I did not know, until years later when they announced their sexual preferences. At least one of them became a four-star general. Keep your mouth shut and don’t do something stupid in the club and no one will bother you. But, that’s not what these wackadoolittles want, they want the attention and want to force people to accommodate their perversions.
