Fox News is under fire Tuesday after the network aired images of the Philadelphia Eagles kneeling in prayer while an anchor discussed President Trump canceling the teams invitation to the White House.
Critics say the package makes it appear as if the Eagles are protesting during the national anthem with Eagles tight end Zach Ertz calling the piece propaganda.

What’s the point of Kneeling if no one knows they’re kneeling
Who cares? They aren’t patriotic. They came down hard on the one guy on their team who served. They stayed in the locker room during the anthem too.
Losers.
Propaganda is good if the lies support what I want.
But,alas, such advertisers won't be able to reach me because
just superimpose a statue of their daddy Joe Stalin in front of them
I started the thread and BRAGGING that I didnt watch the Super Bore the night and day after..
Now I’m really happy I didnt because these assholes/eagles just proved and confirmed that I made the right decision. My GF just conned me into getting into a very pricey restaurant on that night but its all good ..
I remember the same thing happening with one of the receivers for the Indianapolis Colts, where the commentator said he was protesting the NA. Didn’t learn til the next day that he was actually in prayer. He was pretty pissed about it too, afterwards.
No mention if they had the NFL’s permission to kneel and pray or if their prayer was acceptable to NFL fans and President Trump.
The tean was disinvited for protesting the reception.
Trump confirmed their nonappearance.
His critics are misrepresting it just as fox misrepresented the kneel.
[[He was pretty pissed about it too, afterwards.]]
He shouldn’t have been pissed- it was an honest mistake- especially hwen there is such a firestorm over kneeling players- He should be forgiving enough to allow for the mistake and simply just go on record correcting the issue- just like the praying steelers should be man enough to admit that someone simply made a mistake
Bunch of morons living in a bubble. Do they really want to kill the golden goose?
Football wasn't always No. 1 and doesn't have to continue to be. Lessee, other major sports that ain't so major? Boxing, horse racing, track and field, tennis. And how about baseball, which used to be the National Pastime?
The picture Fox News showed was of Eagles players kneeling in prayer well before the national anthem - it wasn’t a protest. It misrepresented what they were doing, and the Eagles players had a right to complain about it.
.
What???
The Philthadelphia Sea gulls pray?
To whom?
.
“The picture Fox News showed was of Eagles players kneeling in prayer well before the national anthem.”
Is it know what they were praying about?
Now their really grabbing at straws!
Spin, Spin, Spin,... .
Maybe. But he had millions of viewers believing it to be the case, at least until they learned the truth a day or two later. Of course, like with other false or mistaken reports, only a relative handful will hear or read the correction.
And Fox issued an apology, so what? If this was CNN they would say it’s “untrue but accurate” and refuse to apologize.
Did they explain Brooks and Jenkins kneeling and raising their Black Power fists during the anthem?
Seems like all networks are refusing to show the time and money these players have given in the off-season to change whatever it is they are kneeling for. I’m sure these players are putting in lots of effort and personal money for training, educating, understanding, and implementing change.
It would be silly to say something is VERY IMPORTANT to you then simply kneel for a few minutes when it’s convenient and to not use the fame and fortune the NFL provides them to do something about that VERY IMPORTANT cause. So I’m sure all the racist networks are just ignoring their efforts. /sarc
