Billionaire conservative icon David Koch is stepping down from the Koch brothers’ network of business and political activities.
The 78-year-old New York resident is suffering from deteriorating health, according to a letter that older brother Charles Koch sent to company officials Tuesday morning.
Charles Koch wrote that he is “deeply saddened” by his brother’s retirement. “David has always been a fighter and is dealing with this challenge in the same way,” he wrote. […]

I am guessing it's because of Trump - someone who's not willing to climb into their pocket and not of the globalist/uniparty/swamp ilk. In short, they probably want politicians over whom they'd have some control.

Now there is a rhetorical question if ever there was one.
On the other hand, the Koch Brothers haven’t changed sides any more than they have changed their stripes.
Libs just lack understanding, wisdom, and a few other very valuable assets. It is very difficult for libs to recognize Republican’s of any stripe as being on their side. It is just a fact, that most Republican’s don’t seem to appreciate what the Republican Party truly stands for and vote as if a democrat. For Dems that just is not good enough. One must have sold his or her soul utterly and completely. How else is one capable of killing your posterity before they are born, or taking away the god given Rights of anyone. Conscience and remorse, are not in the democrat lexicon.
