The money was stolen from the County, and probably originated with Federal funds. So, this is a victimless crime. They did not steal from “someone”. They stole from everyone. Therefore, they stole from themselves.

Case dismissed.

It really depends what court you are talking about. This is Fulton County Atlanta so I doubt this school cafeteria manager will be hounded to pay the full $120,000 restitution. Maybe 10 or 20 thousand will be paid back over a few years, they the rest will be forgotten on purpose.

You saw that she got no prison time, so why would you think this court will pursue her to pay the full 120 thousand?

Fulton County is Atlanta. Democrat Political Party all the way. Corruption is the name of the game. If you are not corrupt and you want to keep your government job, then you should probably keep quiet.

Exactly why very little of the $120,000 she stole will be repaid.

I got in trouble once in a management conference when a consultant was pushing his ethics training for managers. I asked, if we hire managers from our supervisory group, as we almost always did, why not promote ethical people and then we don’t have to train them. Got in trouble for that one.

The Pigford Scandal was written and put through by Obama while he was in the Senate and finished while he was President. I watched as blacks that had potted plants get thousands of dollars because they were “treated unfairly”.

Don’t remind us, please. That was so disgusting! Never have been able to remember the woman’s name that was involved in all that and that’s probably a good thing. Or the cabinet secretary? It was certainly early on in his administration and little did we know, it was a precursor of what was to come.
