So. True! I have never owned a female cat. Ever. Always males.
Last year we got two kittens from a neighbor, a male & a female. Living through that first ‘heat’ for the female was ABSOLUTE INSANITY! She wasn’t even 6 months old!
She was ‘fixed’ VERY soon after that!
I had a border collie and a fixed female ginger cat. Although they really didn’t schmooze with each other the collie was very protective of the cat especially when outside.
