This house is located in a woody area outside of the city of Naples, where lots of wild animals walk around, like bears and panthers.

Keep your pets safe if you live in an area like this!

Awww, poor kitty. I would have shot the perp, don’t care. On the other hand, my kitties don’t go outside to become snax.

That kinda blows up the whole “hey, we are cat bros” theory.

I was LOL when you posted Naples. My grandfather is from Naples and there are no wild cats there. Just goats and sheep, and some wolves but no panthers. And dont ask if we have mafia ties—there is no mafia—(cough)

Predators kill tremendous amounts of pets every year.

In Arizona, coyotes are known for killing great numbers of dogs and cats. Many have seen their pet killed in front of them, or at least limply dangling from the jaws of the coyote as the killer trots off into the desert.

Except that’s not a panther, it’s a cougar.

"The Florida panther is tawny brown on the back and pale gray underneath. It is one of 32 Puma concolor subspecies known by many names – puma, cougar, mountain lion, painter, catamount and panther."

Had a residence call in NM years ago that was for a Mtn Lion in a backyard tree. The best descriptor from the reporting party when asked by the dispatcher was a terse "I don't know what the hell it is other than A big Ass Cat".

A coyote killed our neighbors dog at around 2 am. The dog was tied up on back porch.

“....where lots of wild animals walk around, like bears and panthers.”

And rattlers, copperheads, cottonmouths, coral snakes, alligators, pythons, bobcats etc. Real animal lovers who let their pets out in that environment.
