Han Howard, a former smoke shop employee who lived in Muskogee but was from Oktaha, died Thursday night after a gun he was playing with went off, according to two sources in the Muskogee Police Department.
The sources, who asked to not be identified by name, said Howard had been on a date, and as the evening was winding down, he started playing with a revolver. He apparently opened the revolver and emptied out the bullets, but one bullet stayed in, without his knowledge, the police said.
Howard then allegedly began to play Russian Roulette with the pistol, which he thought he had emptied. On the third trigger pull, the bullet that had escaped his attention fired, mortally wounding him.
No funeral home or service have yet been announced.
Yup! My first thought also.
No one could steer me right but Mama tried, Mama tried
Mama tried to raise me better, but her pleading, I denied
That leaves only me to blame ‘cause Mama tried
Revolution in action...
Needs more cowbell
Another gun that went off
OMG, they are SO dangerous! When will Trump DO something????
This is the police filing a, "please don't screw me out of the life insurance by saying it was deliberate" report. No accidental death benefit if it was deliberate and maybe no insurance at all if it was deliberate because there may be a suicide exclusion.

We had a sad incident in our community where a very well-liked police detective attempted to unload his semi-auto to clean it. Muscle memory had a brain-zap, and instead of pulling the magazine and racking the slide, he racked the slide and pulled the magazine. The gun was pointing at his stomach on the desk in front of him when he inadvertently pulled the trigger.
He died leaving a wife and two young children.
His funeral was one of the most beautiful I’ve attended, especially with the bagpipe formation.
ALL guns are loaded...
Whether they are or not.
Ca n’t fix stoopid!
Or in the words of Forrest Gump: “stupid is as stupid does.”
to use rugers as an example i can see a genius such as this easily missing a round in a blackhawk, where one round at a time is emptied, ahhh crap nevermind this genius could miss emptying a round from a single shot...
I think that is a safe bet. 8>)
Perhaps DJT should start a give-away program starting in San Francisco.
All guns are always loaded. Period, end of story.
“...died Thursday night after a gun he was playing with went off”
Oh yeah, it MUST have been the guns fault...
This genius couldn’t pour loss out of a cowboy boot with the instructions printed on the heel...
This genius couldnt pour piss out of a cowboy boot with the instructions printed on the heel... (fixed)
but could apparently hit water if he fell out of a boat
dang... what 6th grader wrote this?....
3. Never leave a loaded gun where a child can access it.
Never point a gun (loaded or “unloaded”) at anything you would not be willing to destroy.
Seems that he was willing to destroy his head.
