Craft breweries much prefer to can. Much cheaper set-up costs, especially for the smaller quantities they produce from each brew, far less spillage in the packaging process, no breakage, protects the beer better from UV degradation, lighter weight in shipping. Unless one drinks crap factory Inbev beer, it’s all cans now.

People who throw beer in cans (tonight Moosehead, in honour of tariffs against both Canada AND aluminum) into a brine filled cooler because they are sure the aluminum is a better conductor than glass.

Well, for starters real beer does not belong in the cans period. Glass containers only.

Try it again!

Ever picked up a can of the water that Coors calls beer?

You can almost punch a fingernail through the side of that ultra-thin aluminum can.

Maybe Coors should start buying American-made aluminum, if they don’t like paying tariffs on foreign-made.
