Now that I've had time to think about Solo: A Star Wars Story, it's time to rank all 10 live action Star Wars movies worst to best. How would you rank the Star Wars movies?

That we didn’t see Vader in the suit jumping around and being cool by killing Jedi with cgi was a huge point against those prequels. You use the icon, at least in the third movie.
Freegards
I really want to make an Internet show, call it Script Doctor or something, and tell them how to make it better.
I mean, even I can write better scripts than these hacks and I’m strictly amateur!
But seriously, for The Last Jedi, all it would take would be some very subtle changes to dialogue and motivations and it could have been so much BETTER. Not good, but better.
To make it actually good, you’d have to make some bigger changes, like make the feminist Mary Sues... not. Which it’s obvious that they’re unwilling to do.
The first Star Wars movie the best. All else just junk.
I wont even buy the DVD.
The prequels damaged the franchise, and Episodes VII and VIII killed it.
Star Wars can now be described as three generations of whiners wreaking havoc on a universe far, far away.
What? No EWOK movies or the Christmas Special?
Why are there no protesters on-screen in the new SJWars trilogy?
Martyrs to the cause who nag Stormtroopers and put flowers in the barrel of their laser guns, etc.

Agreed.
and Episodes VII and VIII killed it.
Categorically disagree. Even though the last two weren't entirely "my cup of tea", simply the inclusion of several original characters (and actors) was more than enough to preserve the franchise for at least another film or two.
Star Wars in 1977, and even The Empire Strikes Back (which many thought was even better) both caught lightning in a bottle—just like Pulp Fiction did in the early 90's, IMHO. Those films will never be equaled, but I'm not nearly as negative on the franchise now that the taste of the truly abominable prequels is out of my mouth.
I'll be able to survive on residual nostalgia, as long a Chewbacca, the droids, and even a couple of the new characters are around.
I mean, didn't you think that battle with Rey and Kylo Ren with Snokes' henchmen was a great scene? And there were probably a few others.
Having said all that, I also agree with Mark Hamill's sentiments on the direction things took, which should be familiar to any true fan at this point.
Star Wars can now be described as three generations of whiners wreaking havoc on a universe far, far away.
An entirely too knee-jerk and cynical "hot take", IMHO...
Agreed.
I liked the original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back a lot, and Return of the Jedi was OK.
It’s too bad they never made any more Star Wars movies after that.
Are you saying that Anakin, Luke, and Ben/Kylo are not whiners?

When I went to see Ray Bradbury give a talk one night, that was how he spent part of his presentation (he’d done it professionally and discussed a few movies he’d seen that he was disappointed with that could’ve made some changes for the win).
Meesa say, bad acting. Yousa sucksa!
At least the writers didn't do to Star Wars what the "experts" have done to the Star Trek franchise. I mean, if you want to talk about perverting and ruining an awesome original idea, the new Star Trek films epitomize that process. Utterly unwatchable, IMHO, to any fan of the original series, as they have totally replaced thoughtful drama with mindless action. The new Star Trek films uniformly suck green donkey d-cks. [Moderator, delete that last sentence if you must, but it's the truth.]
Word!
Jar Jar Binks—whose brainchild was that?!? On a scale of 1 to 10 for cool Star Wars creatures, Jar Jar was negative one thousand.
ZERO chemistry between Anakin and Padme. Zero, zilch, nada.
Well aren’t we a “Debbie Downer” on this thread.
Yes, I remember that horrible accident in NYC.
Agreed
