Man...... *second* scorpion right above my head in bed this week. I can *hear* the f’ers. Got a filet knife and harpooned him, gave him a ‘and tell your friends’ speech then flushed him. This is on two sleeping tablets.

Diatomaceous earth along the baseboards, in corners etc. can be rather effective. Just avoid breathing it in. It can turn somewhat like cement in the lungs. NOT healthy. There’s a food grade version, BTW. It’s the microscopic shells of ocean diatoms from eons ago. It scratches the exoskeletons of insects and they die from drying out.
Holy crap Tx, where do you live? We live in Florida panhandle and WE don’t even have black scorpions in our beds. Although we do have an astronut for a senator. Anyway, we use Lavender oil sprayed around. I read somewhere creepy crawling things find it quite noxious and smells nice.
Is it wet out your way? They don’t like standing water in their hidey-holes.
