There are cloth diapers out there for sale and I’ve never seen any of those tossed whereas .... anyway it’s personal responsibility not to litter and fines are up there around $500 if caught.
Well that depends .....
I suspect similar fines are already on the books for dumping disposable diapers. Then comes the matter of enforcement.
Plus the urine bottles truckers throw out; enforcement only works when the perp(s) are caught.
EU should ban Muslims, not plastic products...
It's always something. In a thread a few years ago, I learned that those nifty McD plastic coffee stirrer-spoons were just the right size for a hit of cocaine or the like, and drug dealers were using them to distribute pre-packaged, single-dose wares.
(Probably contained BPA, too...)
Had a Nepalese man here that cracked me up every time he mentioned them... he called them “botton cuds”.
(true story!)
That’s one of the few things the enviroweenies are right about. Plastic takes a very long time to break down, and when broken down in the waters to molecular size it can cause filter-feeders near the bottom of the food chain to starve to death with full bellies. Herring, Bunker, Sardines and other forage fish as well.
The problem is that the enviros lie about so many other things, it becomes the “boy who cried wolf” when they are truthful.
Ban ban ban, restrict, regulate and tax. Ban ban ban, regulate, restrict and tax. Ban Ban Ban... language of tyrants.
EU being invaded by 3rd world immigrants and they respond with banning straws and Q-Tips. There is a joke in there somewhere but it is beyond me. Maybe it is the entire EU socialism that is the joke.
Lol. BPA
I’ve basically stopped going to McD’s now that they have stopped using styrofoam for their cups. I HATE drinks on paper/wax cups.... And, the thin polypropylene cups are even worse.
Styrofoam is the BEST! I go anywhere I can find them.
