Chelsea Clinton, the pampered, privileged little princess of Bill and Hillary Clinton, is back at it, calling for protests against the U.S. abroad and then declaring President Trump the anti-American one, all because she still can't get past the 2016 election.
Just say she persisted.
She told the slightly disbelieving Guardian that Trump's official visit to the U.K. in July was reason enough to join the anti-American protesters who will be busy in London and said she'd been to "multiple" such protests back home. According to the Guardian:
I tell her a lot of people in Britain are wondering how they should receive Trump's visit in July. What's her advice? "Well, I've been to multiple protests since the election. Charlotte's been to at least three, maybe four. Aidan's been to one. If I lived in Britain I would show up to protest, because I don't agree with what he's doing to degrade what it means to be an American."
Why should Brits care what it means to be "American"? And why should Brits have an interest in whom we elect? (snip) What's more, Chelsea, having lived in England, knows exactly who these people are and the depth of their anti-Americanism. Yet Chelsea Clinton is actually telling them she's right there with them in spirit and would march with them too if she could.
If you think I'm exaggerating about the anti-American claim, get a load of what Newser (some lefty site) picked out from the mess, thinking it a good thing:
Clinton said "a rot has been exposed" in American society because of the rhetoric used by Trump and his supporters. In doing so, "the real racist and sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic and anti-Semitic feeling ... is on the rise in our country," she continued.

The public face is essentially "Trump is evil, like Hitler. We will be better than previous generations, and not let our Hitler rise to dominance. Just as previous generations retrospectively wished they stopped Hitler at all costs, our generation will use all tools of opposition to avoid Hitler 2."
Sure, they never SAY THIS outright. But a casual review of Antifa, MSNBC, media and Hollywood types and other useful idiots' commentary, would support this arrogant public face of the opposition.
This public face - be it in the sugary encasement presented by Chelsea et al or even in the stark terms I presented - will (sadly) somewhat resonate with the average human..."well, ok..maybe Trump isn't Hitler but he is kinda loud and obnoxious. And there is this Russia thing that I don't understand but let's see where this goes." Most people see right through the façade, but there are enough people with whom the public face resonates such that it continues, day after day.
The problem is the public face has nothing to do with the private face. The private face is more sinister than most imagine and if unmasked would be rejected by most casual supporters of the public face. This private face was nailed right after the election, in a great article posted on on FR about the impetus for the anti-Trump demonstrations. In short:
Liberals...have made politics their religion....What they really want is liberal Sharia law, a secular theocracy.
The minimum wage, gender equality, nationalized health care, and global warming—whatever their practical virtues—are not just expedient policy prescriptions. They are essential aspects of the liberal fatwa...political failure is not just a setback on the road to a more stable society—it is a blow to their very worldview. Opposition to their program is not just wrong-headed, but evil.
They came THIS CLOSE to putting the nail in the coffin. With Trump, freedom and liberty for EVERYONE - whites, black, straight etc. - stands a chance. As our FRiend SamAdams76 put it recently:

Every day, people are waking up and seeing that there IS an alternative to statism. The opposition knows this, and is flailing away like the liquid Terminator at the end of T2.
On this Memorial Day, we remember those who died defending this great nation. Let us continue honoring them tomorrow and thereafter, by remembering and calling out the opposition for what it is...a masked appeal for a secular theocracy that would reverse the greatness upon which America was founded.
