I stopped following the NBA a decade ago....stopped following the NFL after the KaperDick nonsense.
I don’t mind watching ignorant millionaires playing with a ball....But I am not interested in being subjected to their bullsh1t agendas.

Wouldn’t it be great if the NFL and every other major league sport got back to paying their players a more normal wage. No one is worth $10 million a year. No one. Cap it at $500k. Even that is a ridiculous amount of money. Use the extra money to make sure these guys have insurance that covers them if they get hurt; most do. Someone getting $500k a year to play a game should probably get $100k a year if they get hurt doing it.
Now that I think about it; pay all service connected veterans a $100k a year too. They earned more than the pro ball player.
The owners will be thrilled.

It's doesn't matter to me because the... what was it, the NFL? Yeah, the NFL is over for me, just gone.
I could not possibly be any more indifferent to it any more, except to post to an occasional thread here at FR about my absolute lack of interest to it, as in "I'm sorry, I just have no recollection of such a thing.".
What did our nation ever do without an NFL, NBA, NHL, BLB, and the others? The last full Big League Baseball game to which I listened to on the radio was in 1980. Back to sand lot ball and small-town park simple football games for a little health and fitness. Forget the pros, forget college sports, and forget the condom-ridden Olympics, would be my advice.

Let them. There are plenty of talented young athletes waiting to take their places.
If they do, there will be a lot of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Aston-Martin autos on the repo lot.
