The customer, whose name is Pedro, received a drink labeled beaner a racial slur for Mexicans when he visited a location Tuesday in La Cañada, news station KTLA reported.

The coffee chain responded in a tweet saying that the incident was not the welcoming experience we aim to provide.

Maybe they can name their restrooms after Pedro, eh?
Im calling shenanigans.
Starbucks and their lefty management are the last people Ill ever defend, but this accusation smells like a setup to me. First they offend blacks and now they supposedly have insulted a Hispanic customer! The lefties bringing Starbucks to their knees would be a major score for them!
Beaners, eat beans.
People need to lighten up.

Do what?! WTF?
This is the crap that happens when you rollover.
Maybe some collusion going on?
Since Starbucks has already offended blacks and Hispanics we should expect slurs written on the cups of an Asian and then an LGBT customer to complete the insult circle. The lefties have targeted Starbucks and the idiots running that company are predictably caving in!
Where does Pedro think coffee comes from? Machines?........
Hey, they offended me ages ago with the over priced crappy coffee.
Beaner a racial slur against Mexicans? I thought it was just a nickname.
This all started when they made it official policy to write messages on their coffee cups.
Sunday is the AIDS Walk. The bathroom lines will be a block long. Glad I don’t go there anymore.
Starbucks needs to close for 2 months of sensitivity training.
We live in full throttle Leftist America now! Sucks, doesnt it?
Perhaps the barista was referring to the coffee beaners?
” received a drink labeled beaner”
I’ve never been in a Starbucks, but wouldn’t one have to order a drink, in order to “receive” it? I’m confused.
The earliest story that I read on this this morning, said the man gave the name “Peter” (not Pedro (which is the same name in spanish)) But due to the accent the ‘barrista’ misunderstood and thought he said “Beaner”.
Now, as much as I hate Starbucks, that explanation fully makes sense to me, and the media is trying to gin up more racial outrage over a simple misunderstanding
Even if they are kinda snooty, I can’t imagine that a typical Social Justice Snowflake Starbucks employee would do something that obvious with easily presented evidence.
