Getting rid of the 501(c)3 because a few criminals are misusing it is like banning guns because some wacko shoots up a school.

Thank you for your point, my FRiend.

I see I didn’t do a good writing job. I was citing that article because it portrayed a connection of the D5 Coalition as being under suspicion of being involved in the activities of funding terrorists. I was not seeking to adopt the aim of that article cited.

I know that Gary Sinese who was interviewed by Levin on Sunday, has a Foundation and I suspect he is not abusing the law. It appears he is actually doing good things with being a non profit organization.

I think, however, we can all agree that we need somehow to create more guardrails in the charity area so that such abuses cannot be allowed to perpetuate.

Where did the exemption from “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion” come from that allowed the creation of 501(c)3’s???
