Republican strategist and campaign veteran Steve Schmidt, who two days before the 2016 U.S. presidential election told then-candidate Donald Trump to prepare a concession speech, said Monday night that the move of the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem is an attempt to "stave off a disastrous midterm election" through incitement of his base.

Schmidt called Trump ignorant and said, "there will be blood on his hands" for destabilizing the Middle East.

Lack of self-reflection is a necessity to be a swamp creature. This RINO played important roles in the George II and McCain POTUS campaigns. I am sure both candidates did the obligatory move the embassy to Jerusalem campaign promise. I do not remember Mr. Schmidt comment how those promises would destabilize the Middle East. Talk about the Middle East. Bush the Younger dumped gasoline in the whole area and threw a match. McCain if he had it his way would fight Syria, Russia, and Iran in an all out war. He must be jealous Trump has the cajones to keep his promises unlike the 2 frauds he worked for.

I actually confused Schmidt with another character and can not confirm his position on abortion. I know he admitted he regretted pushing for Palin as McCain’s running mate, he’s attacked Trump and Laura Ingraham, and he’s defended pubescent politico Hogg, and he’s openly promoted homosexual marriage.
