Sentinel (Penguin/Random House) has just authorized a new edition (4th) of "A Patriot's History of the United States" written by Larry Schweikart (LS) and Mike Allen. This will be the 30th printing of the book since 2004 with a half-million copies in print.
The new edition, expanding on the 10th Anniversary Edition in 2014, will cover all of US history from Columbus's discovery of the New World to the end of Trump's second year.
That means all of Zero's useless presidency will be included. Since Trump is erasing it as fast as possible, there may not be much to cover (joke). Of course there will be lotsa crime there.
In conjunction with this, not only have we updated and expanded all of our teaching resources on our FREE site, www.patriotshistoryusa.com, but in January I will launch my own site with video lectures and other products that will also support the Patriot's History series. This series now includes: *A Patriot's History of the United States *The Patriot's History Reader (a documents collection) *A Patriot's History of the Modern World, vol. 1 & 2, both with Dave Dougherty (a two-volume series of the whole world, with special focus on America, from 1898 to 2012).
In addition, the biography of Ronald Reagan by LS, "Reagan: the American President," which had been due for release from Milo's "Dangerous" books, has been canceled with the ending of funding for Milo's businesses. However, while I am not yet at liberty to say the new publisher (still signing the deal) it's pretty certain a very good publisher has this and we are now looking at a Christmas release.
I do not know if we will keep the same title. The book relies heavily on Reagan's presidential papers in the Reagan library, NOT interviews with old pals or people in the administration. Most of these papers have never been used or made public before. More after the deal is finalized.

Will need to update my original copy of “A Patriot’s History of the United States,” can’t miss your take on the Obummer years.
And an accurate book on Reagan will be well worth the wait.
Remember some of the sorry books written about him, such a travesty to his memory.

What is the story behind the ending of funding for Milo’s businesses if I may ask?
Back in late 17, the Mercer family pulled the $10m they gave him as capital, converting it to a loan. This was mostly over Robert Mercer getting out of the business and handing it over to Rebekah, who didn’t have the stomach for extreme controversy. That’s about when they told Breitbart to dump Bannon or she’d pull their money.
After that Milo found some billionaire bitcoin guy who died of a drug overdose. So his money went out the window.
Even before that, though, Milo had scaled down massively and had told his editor he wanted to scrap the publishing business after two books (His and Pam Geller’s. Mine was to be #4.)
LOL. What year? It came out in 2004, we updated it for a paperback edition in 2006, put out a still newer edition in 2014 updated through the 2006-2014 period. This one now covers 2014-18.
Please let Kindle readers know when it is a Kindle book.

I use this book with my Scout Units. It is the basis of all three MBs (Citizenship in the Community, Nation, and World).
Outstanding book. It’s the place I have turned to remind myself I’m not crazy over the years.

Not sure what version I have, I’ll have to check when I get home today. Plus I just picked up 15 books at the Oro Valley library sale so I’m all piled up right now.
