When officers came early Thursday morning, Dimitri was barricaded in a dark bedroom closet. When the light came on, Dimitri was shaking and laying his ears flat, according to a report. The bedroom smelled like urine and feces, and blood was smeared on the floor and a chair arm rest, according to the report. Dimitri’s ear had blood on it and a cut, PBSO said.
Poor dog.

I’ll stick with training it to obey my commands. And take away the food dish while it is eating. I still like to do that one once in awhile - although my wife thinks it is just teasing after so many years.
However, if it’s going through something where it doesn’t want to eat, I’ll stick my face in his dish and pretend to eat. Then he wants a piece of the action, and when I move away he’ll shoulder his 80 pounds in there and start eating.
