This thread is a friendly collaborative place for FReepers to analyze information and share opinons. FReepers have a wide variety of reasons for investigating Q Anon content; this is not the appropriate place to criticize or badger those who choose to use some of their time in this manner.

Q "drops" (i.e., posts) can be read with their original formatting on various websites. Sometimes the Q drop websites come under cyber attack or stop updating. This week, I've been using the following link:

In my small circle of acquaintances/old friends, I know of 2 who are opiod addicts, initially for pain, but now use so much that is a whole new ballgame. I think one is now being given something else supposed to help with addiction, the other one’s DH is monitoring usage but it is really a bandaid.

These were/are serious addictions, and not good for anyone involved.

Something is wrong if meds for pain cause addicition in huge numbers of people. Of course, there are PLENTY of opiod addicts who did not start with legitimate pain issues. Plenty of heroin users around all over the place, and they often use other drugs as well, and plenty of ODs.

The drug culture is extremely destructive for the entire country.

Sessions did rescind 0bola’s (cannot remember precise word?) memorandum to federal attorneys in each state that they should not prosecute mj crimes (growers, sellers). So the Fed Attorney in my state is now going to implement Sessions’ rescinding this, even though our state is a legal mj state. Of course, most of the growing is still illegal (ie not licensed and permitted via the state). It’s horrible here due to the “legal” mj status.

For most of the past year or so I've arisen in the morning, fed the critters, made my coffee, launched the computers/all the links and then thanked the Lord that this ain't the day that I've got to go HOT.

It finally sunk in to my ancient skull some time ago that the MSM is at the same time my/our/my country's greatest enemy and the best indicator of exactly how much damage we're doing to the MSM/DS cabal.

It's almost childish.

If the MSM is really, REALLY pushing a storyline, it's something (Stormy whatsherface is the current crap du jour) they think that is going to cause injury.

If, on the other hand, the MSM badmouths/minimizes a source or story, it's going to work against their little seditious gambit of the moment...and if they totally ignore something (i.e. Isreal's itel coup on the Iran "Deal" or the exact number of sudden resignations/firings from DOJ/FBI).....

Can you spell "Win"?

Can you also appreciate this Old Man's feeling that, for the first time in years I am regaining some of my faith in our country and at least some of my countrymen?

I haven’t personally experienced this, but do not doubt all the experiences of others.

If they are going to legalize weed, they need to allow regular banking and price it low enough (slashing the taxes, too)to put the illegal growers out of business. Do the legal states allow small personal grows of however many plants for own use?

We aren’t a legal state, but many, many people use and grow their own.

Good points, just a clarification. Tylenol (Acetaminophen) affects your liver, especially when you drink. Ibuprofen (Motrin) is the one that affects your kidneys.

Arizona anon here. Interesting thing happened here last week in the state legislature.

While the whole state and media (myself included) were focused on the statewide teacher strike, the legislature quietly passed a bill, HB2538, to slightly modify the appointment process for US Senator.

Our governor appoints a new Senator, who must be of the same political party as the seat just vacated. Then the seat goes up for election at the next statewide election. But, if the seat is vacated after a certain date, then the election is pushed two years out. That date was originally May 31. But on April 30, the same day as Q's post, the legislature changed the date to March 31. From the bill's status page at the legislature, it still awaits the Governor's signature, but should be a done deal. If NoName's seat is vacated now, the Governor appoints a new Senator who won't be up for election until 2020.

Also, just to close loopholes, the bill clarifies the political party requirement. If the original holder of the seat changes party, the Governor must appoint someone of the party the person ran on at the last election. No last-minute changes to Demorat allowed for old NoName.

Well crap. The governor is going to appoint Cindy McCain or some other party insider who hates Trump, rather than allow the people to choose in a special election.

OTOH, the people of Arizona elected McCain, so what does that say about their discernment.

My corrupt state and also corrupt or at least feeble and helpless (?) county gov do nothing against the illegal growers. Not a thing. Legally banks cannot take dopers’ money due to fed regulations, as on the fed level, mj growing is illegal. So it’s not the banks’ fault. So the illegal growers here have freedom to do whatever they want and I have detailed on other threads that all crime as skyrocketed. As well as other drug use and ODs.

The price growers can sell for has dropped a lot so some growers are losing heart, thankfully. People can grow a few plants for personal use, I don’t know how many.

Thing is, current dope has such high THC that it renders users unfit for normal life. So legal or not, it screws up everything.

Actually, no. Trump has kept a lot of GOPe nearly traitorous performers in his admin. And it is widely perceived that the firing of Comey is what led to the naming of Mueller as a SC. The very strong threats were of impeachment to start if Trump fired Sessions.

Now, I agree with you that there is evidence that Sessions has silently been doing the right thing to a degree. But there is also evidence that he hasn’t.

I contend that you don’t actually *know* any better than the rest of us at this point what the answer is re: Sessions.

Me too!

For a few years, I was sort of down on the 4th of July. Then I read the Declaration of Independence and regained the sense of awe I had for most of my years. We aren't celebrating the Constitution of the formation of the US on the 4th of July, we are celebrating a REVOLUTION, and the principles in the Declaration if Independence are just as awesome as ever.

I detest the federal government. It gets my respect only because it will kill me otherwise, just like the mafia, but with badges. Dishonest hacks everywhere, and I know it for a fact having studied for hundreds of hours, legal opinions written by judges.

With Trump in power, I see a fighting chance for a public awakening, and not just in the US. The media is losing its grip. Once that is gone, the politicians, judges, and governors will be exposed as the petty tyrants they are.
