UM....their university is named.....GEORGE WASHINGTON University!!!
Without the ‘Colonials’ there would have been no American Revolution; without the ‘Colonials’ there would be no George Washington University.
Obviously GWU does not teach (as a required course) American History, or if they do, a highly limited version.

This insanity of name-changing will never stop as long as ‘officials’ give in to it. Someone will always find something to be offended about.

It is an act of power. It feels good to force others to do what you want, and it is empowering to wrap the demands in a moral mantle.
There’s an end to it though. I still like the ‘George Washington Carvers’, knife, ham and all.

Liberals always grossly exaggerate the appeal of their crazy beliefs.
To them the validity of their beliefs is in how many people they can fool you into thinking hold the same beliefs, not in whether or not any of their beliefs hold water.
