Damn if they aren’t hiding the dog of peace aspect just like they do with muzzie attacks. No mention of the breed in the actual article, just in a related box of text. Then they have the gall to warn people about adopting “older” dogs. A little smoke and mirrors there. It’s the age, people, not the pitbull aspect - uh huh. Reads just like Ministry of Propaganda articles about psycho jihadists.
I mean, people are huge firearm afficionados but I've never once seen a case where a kid is killed by an accidental shooting and gun owners jumped in to delare it was the kids fault, the kid deserved it, etc. No, they will say the adult failed to do the right things, take the right precautions, follow the right safety protocols. They will say it's a terrible and tragic event and they feel for the child. Will they call for banning guns? No. But they don't attack the child! Pitbull owners do.
Yes, I did just realize this also. And I had not noticed this aspect so blatantly before, but I am now looking for it and seeing it in other articles and newsvids. I will be going down the list of daily dog article links on the website https://www.nationalpitbullvictimawareness.org/ to see which ones are more likely to omit the dog breed in news stories.
